CRC Hobbies Race Classes and Rules

(Effective as of July 31, 2024)

OFF-ROAD CLASSES:​

• Kids Class

• Novice/Beginner

• 2WD Buggy 21.5

• 2WD Buggy 17.5

• 2WD Buggy Mod/Open

• 4WD Buggy 13.5

• 4WD Buggy Mod/Open

• 2WD Stadium Truck Open

• 2WD SCT Open

• 1/10 Truggy Open

• 4WD SCT Open

• Mini B/T

RULES:​

• All race vehicles must have carpet approved tires. 

• Saucing is allowed. Must be store bought not home made! No exceptions!

• All tires must be DRY before being placed on the carpet.

• All race vehicles must have carpet approved chassis protectors covering all chassis screws. 

• All race vehicles must have their appropriate motors for each class. 

• All vehicles must have a minimum ground clearance of 10mm. 

• All vehicles must have their appropriate bodies attached to the vehicle at all times.

• All racers must show appropriate driver etiquette or you will be DQ’d and vehicle removed from track. 

• ALL vehicles must be inspected prior to going on to the track every day. 

 

Unless otherwise specified, the following apply to every race date:

• Classes may be combined based on participation levels.

• Sunday entry fees are $15 for 1st car, $10 for each additional car. 

• Practice and Driver check in 11:00-12:30, Racing starts at 12:30ish on Sundays.

Normal Track Usage Rules

​

All vehicles coming onto the track must: 

• Be cleaned before running. 

• Have carpet approved tires. Tires must be clean and debris free.

• Have carpet approved chassis protectors. 

• Be inspected before running on the track everyday to ensure these requirements are met.

• NO BASHING/FULL SENDING OR INTENTIONAL CRASHING!! 

• If we feel that any of these rules are being broken we will remove your car from the track. NO EXCEPTIONS!! NO REFUNDS!!

• ALL VEHICLES GOING ON TRACK MUST BE 1/10TH SCALE OR SMALLER AND MUST USE A 2S LIPO OR SMALLER!

Prohibited/Restricted Vehicles:​​

• All vehicles larger than 1/10th scale cannot be on the track.

• Traxxas 4WD Rustler, 2WD and 4WD Stampedes and The Hoss.

• Arrma Big Rock, Vorteks and Granite.

• Any other 1/10th scale brands are subject to same rules.
